Dressage Clinic with Melanie Tenney

 

Successful competitor through Int. U.S.D.F. Certified Instructor thru 4th level; U.S.D.F. workshop faculty. Tenney is currently on the teaching staff at the University of Connecticut’s Equestrian Program. She owns and operates Woodcock Hill, one of three British Society Approved Training Centers in the US. Students at WH participate in international instructor licensing programs.  Melanie's method of assessment and exercises help develop rider and horse along the concepts of the training scale. **This is a Training through 2nd Level Workshop**

Ever want to know what your instructor knows? See what your instructor sees? Well now is your chance! 

Educate yourself at a USDF workshop. The USDF Certified Instructor Workshops are designed to educate dressage students at many levels. Workshops provide a wonderful learning opportunity for students at all levels to learn classical theory of riding, training, lungeing and teaching. The workshops are also designed to provide an intensive training experience for instructors and aspiring instructors to assess and further their practical skill level. Through participation in USDF Workshops, individuals can gain more theoretical knowledge, improve their skills and determine whether or not their current level of experience and expertise approaches the standard needed to become a USDF Certified Instructor.

FEES

 The cost of the workshop for Participating Riders is $350 for the weekend. (This includes breakfast and lunch)

Participating Auditor  fees are $50 per day or $75 for the weekend (can participate in discussions, lectures, lunch)

Silent Auditor fees are $25 (includes lunch)
